Our Slavuta plans for the Near Future Include:
• Obtaining records for the whole town of Slavuta from the archives, We will then make a list of all the surnames showing up in those record sets so you will know if your family surnames are on the lists. Please let us know if you are interested in helping us to acquire and translate the records.
• Constructing a tree that we can all have access to, which will show the links among Slavuta families, in the present and in the past.
• We would also like to incorporate the names of individuals who are listed in:
o the Slavuta Yizkor book;
o at Yad Vashem;
o on Ellis Island and other entry cities (including Canadian sites, Israeli sites etc.
o Slavuta societies and cemetery listings for Slavuter society members in the US, Canada, Israel, Russia etc.
o Genealogical data sites;
o Anything you would like to contribute from the Slavuta Association of Israel. Please help us to create a beautiful page to Slavuta on this TKFoundation site!
