2014	These sunken matsevas photographed in Beshenkovichi during 2014 were barely recognizable. The cemetery has remained mostly untouched since the towns Jewish inhabitants were all annihilated by the Nazi's in 1942.

2016

Since the first expedition in 2015 over 1300 matsevas have been found and catalogued by dozens of unpaid volunteers. Expeditions continue to clear forest in the hopes that more ancient graves may be found and restored. We can only continue with this remarkable project with your private donations.
